Press Release-Higher Education

The Hon. Commissioner for Higher Education, Engr. Jude Sinebe, FNSE, has enjoined all students in the State tertiary Institutions to meet up with the obligation required by their respective Institutions.

Engr. Sinebe stated this in his office while briefing the press that every student must pay his/her school fees at the beginning of the session, register for relevant courses before been recognized as students of such institutions.

The Commissioner also added that students should take their lectures seriously to enable them meet the 75 percent attendance required before sitting for examination.

Meanwhile, the Higher Education Commissioner has given a two week ultimatum to all private owned and affiliated institution to register with the State Government through the Ministry of Higher Education or be sanctioned.

He advised students to desist from any art of vices, violence, cult activities that is inimical to the growth of tertiary education.
