Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has scored his administration high in its empowerment programme.
As Delta State continues in its stride to remain the destination for medical tourism, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has said the sum of N100 million was disbursed to the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH), Oghara, while another N100 million would be released in the next couple of weeks.
The governor dropped the hint yesterday (07/02/17) in Asaba while fielding questions from Journalists during a media interactive session.

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. lfeanyi Okowa has stated that the state government would partner with the Niger-Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in the completion of ongoing NDDC projects in the state.
Senator Okowa who stated this at the weekend in Umunede, IKa North East Local Government Area after inspecting the 4.3km Umunede Ring Road project, commended NDDC for its timely intervention in the construction of the road project and promised his government partnership with the commission to complete the road.

The governor gave the assurance today (19/01/17) in Asaba when the Assistant Commandant-General, Zone G of the Nigeria Society and Cilvil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr Bassey Onoyom Bassey led officials of the security agency to pay him a courtesy visit.
DELTA State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has called for improved legal service delivery to decongest the courts.
The Governor made the call yesterday (18/01/17) in Asaba during the swearing-in ceremony of Justice Vincent Ofesi as a Judge of the Delta State High Court.
According to the governor, there was the need for improved legal service delivery “in accordance with our democratic principles and the rule of law,” asserting that such should manifest in the decongesting of the courts.
