Okowa Hails President Buhari At 74


Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has sent his message of felicitation to President Muhammadu Buhari as he clocks 74 on Saturday, December 17, 2016.

In a statement in Asaba, on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Charles Aniagwu, Governor Okowa prayed God to grant the President many more years of good health and personal fulfilment.

“As you mark your 74th birthday anniversary, I write, on behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta State, to extend warm felicitations to you.

IN his bid to ensure speedy development of Delta State, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on behalf of the state government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kems Infrastructure Solution Limited and Huawei Technologies Company Nigeria for the development of smart cities in the state.

Signing the MoU yesterday (15/12/16) at the Government House, Asaba, Governor Okowa stated that the MoU would also bring about innovative ICT solutions that would position the state to tackle challenges as they arise.

According to Governor Okowa, it was only in Delta State that some local government councils have the same salary structure with the state government and the federal government.
