Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has commiserated with His Royal Majesty Ogiame Ikenwoli I, the Olu of Warri and the entire Itsekiri nation on the demise of philanthropist, politician & community leader, Late Chief (Dr) Joseph Ajatiton Popo (JP) describing his death as a huge loss to the Itsekiri nation and Delta State in general.

Okowa Extols Former Delta Governor, Uduaghan At 62


Delta State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has extolled the virtues of immediate past Governor of the State, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan describing him as a peace advocate.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Charles Aniagwu, noted in a statement yesterday that Governor Okowa felicitates with immediate past Governor, Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan on the occasion of his 62nd birthday which comes up on Saturday October 22.

Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has congratulated HRM Omo N'Oba N'Edo Uku Akpolokpolor, Oba Ewuare II, the 39th Oba of Benin Kingdom, as he ascends the ancient throne of his forefathers.

Delta North Monarchs Pass Confidence Vote On Gov. Okowa


TRADITIONAL Rulers in Delta North Senatorial District under the aegis of Delta North Traditional Rulers’ Forum have passed a vote of confidence on the state Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for the giant strides so far recorded in the administration of the state.

The vote of confidence is contained in a seven point communiqué issued at the end of the meeting of the forum at the Owa Royal Palace, Owa-Oyibu, in Ika North East Local Government Area.

Okowa Pays Tribute To Late Mrs Echegile


Delta State Governor, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on Sunday in Lagos (16/10/2016) eulogized the late Mrs Elizabeth Echegile, wife of former Nigerian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, His Excellency, Amb Godson Echegile, describing her as very warm, caring, and loving sister.

Governor Okowa, who spoke at an Outing Service held at the St Andrews Anglican Church, GRA, Ogudu, Lagos for the late Mrs Echegile, said the fact that the church was filled to capacity was an eloquent testimony to the fact that she lived a life that impacted positively on so many people.
