Oborevwori felicitates Otuaro at 56
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro, who clocks 56 years on April 16.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, on Tuesday in Asaba, the governor extolled Otuaro for his statesmanly contributions to the ‘Smart Agenda’ and ‘Stronger Delta’ vision of the immediate past administration.
Governor Oborevwori paid glowing tribute to Otuaro for his outstanding contributions to ensuring peace in the Niger Delta through his Chairmanship of the Peace Advocacy Committee Against Oil Facility Vandalism which culminated in improved oil production in the state and the country.
He said: “It is in recognition of these roles that you were honoured with the Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Award 2019 by Daily Independent Newspapers Limited.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate you, my dear brother and former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Esq. on the occasion of your 56th birth anniversary.
“Your Excellency, as a former Deputy Governor, and a party stalwart, you made significant and remarkable contributions to the development of our dear state.
“With your continued partnership and that of all Deltans, we will continue to advance Delta to the El Dorado of our dreams as we work assiduously to ensure peace, security and the overall development of our dear state.
“I wish that God will continue to grant you good health and many more years of devotion to the Almighty and humanity as you rightfully commemorate this year’s anniversary of your birth.”
