Oborevwori celebrates Efeizomor II, Obi of Owa at 87
Delta State Governor of Delta, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Monday, felicitated the Obi of Owa Kingdom, HRM Obi (Dr) Emmanuel Efeizomor II, OON, on his 87th birth anniversary.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori described the revered monarch as “One of Delta’s longstanding traditional rulers with exceptional leadership achievements”.
He said that through the years, Obi Efeizomor had made important contributions to the growth and development of Delta State and Owa kingdom particularly.
The Governor said: “For the Owa people, Obi Efeizomor has remained a revered leader, a role model, and the defender of their traditions and culture.
“The Owa kingdom has experienced a remarkable transformation in the fields of infrastructure and human capital development under your direction.
“As the immediate past Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers, you made a great deal of contributions. You were a role model and a peacemaker, humble and excellent with exemplary leadership.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta State, I congratulate His Royal Majesty, Dr Emmanuel Efeizomor, OON, Obi of Owa Kingdom, on the occasion of his 87th birth anniversary.”
While wishing Obi Efeizomor a happy 87th birth anniversary celebration, Governor Oborevwori prayed to God for a longer life and wisdom for the monarch to continue serving the kingdom, state, and humanity.
