Oborevwori Celebrates Otuaro At 57

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to the immediate past Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, on the occasion of his 57th birth anniversary on April 16.

In a statement in Asaba on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori commended Otuaro for his patriotic service and key contributions to the success of the ‘Smart Agenda’ and ‘Stronger Delta’ initiatives under the previous administration.

The Governor praised Otuaro’s role in promoting peace and stability in the Niger Delta region, especially through his leadership of the then Peace Advocacy Committee Against Oil Facility Vandalism, a role that significantly boosted oil production in both the state and the country.

“In recognition of your vital role, you were deservedly honoured with the Niger Delta Peace Ambassador Award in 2019 by Daily Independent Newspapers Limited,” Oborevwori noted.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and the good people of Delta State, I congratulate you, my dear brother and former Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Esq., as you mark your 57th birth anniversary.

“As a committed party member and statesman, your contributions to the growth and progress of Delta State remain remarkable.

“With your continued support and that of fellow Deltans, we will press forward in building the Delta of our dreams—one anchored on peace, security, and sustainable development.

“I pray that God continues to bless you with good health and many more years of impactful service to humanity and devotion to the Almighty,” the Governor concluded.
