Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, the wife of the Governor of Delta State, is a philanthropist and a policy advocate. She was born in Lagos on February 5, 1970, to Mr Christopher Ogi Alere and his wife, Agnes.

Her passion for humanity led to the embellishment of You Matter Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization, addressing the needs of individuals with autism and other vulnerable members of the community. By providing vital support and raising awareness. the foundation aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who often face unique challenges.
She attended Otovwodo Primary School, Ughelli, and St. Ita’s Girls Grammar School, Sapele, where she was involved in various vocational and extracurricular activities. After that, she attended Delta State University Abraka, from where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in2010.
As a devout Christian and successful businesswoman, Deaconess Oborevwori uses her faith and resources to combat societal ills. Mrs. Oborevwori uses whatever position the Lord has placed her to advocate for the rights of the poor, women, and other vulnerable groups, while actively using her resources to improve their living conditions. Compassionate and caring, Deaconess Oborevwori hopes to use the bigger platform God has given her as the wife of the Governor to extend the frontiers of her humanitarian work. Currently, her major area of concentration is working with special-needs children, especially children living with autism; a developmental disability caused by differences in the brain. Her passion inspired her pet project, the You Matter Charity Foundation. You Matter Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization, represents a significant step towards addressing the needs of individuals with autism and other vulnerable members of the community. By providing vital support and raising awareness, the foundation aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who often face unique challenges. Both in her private and public life, Deaconess Oborevwori
has always advocated for the right of every child to education and comprehensive healthcare, empowerment opportunities for women, and elimination of gender-based violence and drug abuse. In addition, she aspires to provide
shelter for homeless children, especially girls, and reach out to rural communities through various initiatives to uplift and empower individuals for a brighter future.
She is married to her heartthrob, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and blessed with five lovely children.
