Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the assignment of the supervision of Enerhen Junction to 1st Marine Gate Flyover Project construction to the Commissioner for Special Projects, Barr. Funyei Manager. The Delta State Government has again expressed her commitment to building durable road network across the state. Commissioner for Works in charge of rural and riverine roads, Mr. Charles Aniagwu restated the government's commitment on Tuesday while on inspection tour of the ongoing reconstruction of 13.1 kilometers Ohorhe-Adagbrassa road, and the proposed dualization of the 1.6 kilometer Eseze Road  in Okpe LGA. The Secretary to  Delta State Government, (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, yesterday, said the state government would be transparent and fair in the distribution of palliatives to farmers and other Deltans to ameliorate their plight occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government. The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed an appeal brought before it by Chief Kenneth Gbagi against Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for being a waste of time, mere academic exercise, and lacking any utilitarian value.
