DR KINGSLEY ASHIBUOGWU

Commissioner, primary Education

Born in 1970, from Ossissa, Ndokwa East LGA, Dr Nze Kingsley Ashibogwu started his public and political service as Supervisory Councilor for Environment, later Secretary and eventually Chairman of the PDP, Ndokwa East LGA.

Subsequently appointed Board Member, Land Use and Allocation Committee, later Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, he emerged Commissioner for Higher Education in the administration of Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education, majoring on Accounting; a Bachelor of Law degree; Master of Science in Accounting as well as in Business Education (Accounting); and a Doctorate degree in Accounting (Financial Accounting) while also still pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration, focusing on Business Management.

He is Fellow of the Association of Management and Social Science Researchers of Nigeria; a member of the Nigerian Accounting Association; Association of Business Educators of Nigeria; Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Forensic and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria; Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered); Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; and Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators.
