Born in 1970, from Oginibo, Ughelli South LGA, Comrade Rueben Rume Yakubu Izeze is a lawyer, Petroleum Engineer, Geoscientist, Oil and Gas expert and Linguist.

Called to Bar in 2014, he attended the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi; Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun; Delta State University, Abraka; Nigeria Law School, Abuja; the University of Benin; Moshe Dayen Institute, Tel-Aviv, Israel; South Alberta Institute of Technology, Canada; University of London; University of Cambridge; and the International Law Institute, Washington, USA.

From activism in students unionism, he was first appointed into the Delta State political and public service arena as Special Assistant on Students Affairs in the administration of Chief James Ibori, retained in the administration of Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, and elevated as Special Assistant, later Senior Special Assistant, Protocol.

He contested and won the House of Assembly seat for Ughelli South into the Delta State House of Assembly for two terms before returning to his Humanity Chambers of Rueben Izeze and Partners.
