Hon. Peter Uviejitobor

Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor JP, fondly called “The Dangote” , was born in October, 1965, and hails from Orhwhorun, Udu LGA.

He attended Urhobo College, Effurun; Egini Grammar School, Egini-Udu; Delta State University, Abraka; Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA; and University of Cambridge.

He holds a Bachelor Science degree in Political Science with Masters in Business Administration in view.

Hon Uviejitobor is a very successful businessman with chains of businesses across the Oil and Gas sector, construction, and is a major distributor to the Dangote Group, the reason why he is referred to as “The Dangote.”

Politically, he is one of the leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Udu Local Government Area, supporting the party in mobilisation and funding.

Appointed Transition Committee Member, Udu Local Government Council in 2011, he thereafter, contested and won election into the Delta State House of Assembly in 2015 and represented the constituency for two terms.

Hon. Uviejitobor is also a prominent community leader, palace chief and a Justice of Peace
