Special Adviser on Transport
Born in August 1969, from Ughelli North LGA, Jaro Egbo, popularly called “Hivoltage” in recognition of his high level political activities, is an effective grassroots mobiliser and community development activist.
From his early education at RCM Primary School and
Otovwodo Grammer School, Ughelli, he has emerged an accomplished legal luminary, with an LLB from the University of Nigeria, LLM from Delta State University and a PhD in view.
Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999, he has not only been effective in legal practice but also successful in private business as President of
Crestviaro Ltd and Zinotech Engineering Limited, amongst other endeavors.
His effectiveness in political and community development affairs first earned him appointment as Special Assistant to the Secretary of the State Government in 2006; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor in 2015; Special Adviser to the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in 2022; and now as Special Adviser to the Governor on Transport.
Honoured with the Chieftaincy title of “Amerode” of Ugheĺli Kingdom in 2011, Egbo is also a Knight of St. Christopher’s (Ksc) in the Anglican Communion.
