Special Adviser
Born in August 1957, from Orerokpe in Okpe LGA, Chief Ramson Manasseh Ikweki, has been a grassroots mobiliser and community development activist, distinguishing himself from his days as Youth Chairman of Orerokpe Community, 1986-1990.
His early education started at NBC Primary School and Baptist High School, Orerokpe. He then proceeded to the Institute of
Continuous Education, Benin City, and to the Institute of Education, Benin City, where he obtained his NCE and Post Graduate Diploma in Education.
He started his working life as a teacher, transversing several climes, including Christ The King High School, Kumbu, in the North West Province of Cameroon, Burutu Grammar School, Burutu, Oha Girls Secondary School, Oha, and CAC Teachers’ College, Efon-Alaaye, Ondo State.
With his irresistible leadership qualities, he was elected Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for Okpe Ward 1, 1990 -1993, and also Zonal Delegate to the National Constitutional Conference, 1994-1995.
After contesting for Chairmanship under the Zero Party System in 1996, and also under the National Centre Party of Nigeria (NCPN) in 1997, he was appointed Supervisory Councillor for
Finance in the local government, 1999 – 2002, and subsequently elected into the Executive Committee of the Delta State PDP as Ex-Officio member, 2012-2016.
He was the Director General of the PDP Campaign Council, Okpe LGA, in the 2019 general elections and subsequently appointed Political Adviser to the Honourable Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, 2019, later Executive Assistant to the Governor, 2019-2023 and 2023 to 2024.
